The Medtronic Ambassador Program connects patients to peers who can share their personal experiences with specific Medtronic therapies. Some patient ambassadors are Medtronic employees. The patient ambassador will tell you at the beginning of your scheduled call if he/she is a Medtronic employee. If a patient ambassador is a Medtronic employee and has an online profile for the Medtronic Ambassador Program, the patient ambassador's profile will also disclose that he/she is a Medtronic employee. All patient ambassadors, even those who are Medtronic employees, are volunteers and are not paid for their participation in the Medtronic Ambassador Program.
Registered nurses who are part of the Converse with a Nurse Program are paid consultants of Medtronic.
While ambassadors and nurses are instructed not to disclose your personal information, Medtronic cannot guarantee this will not happen. Therefore, we encourage you to refrain from sharing personal information unless you choose to do so. This program is not intended to provide medical advice, counseling, or technical support, nor to replace discussions with your licensed physician or healthcare professional.
